Creamy Marry Me Chicken Pasta Recipe
When comfort food meets romance π This creamy Marry Me Chicken Pasta is rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor from sun-dried tomatoes and juicy chicken. It’s a feel-good meal that might just win someoneβs heart β€οΈ
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 10 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
- 2 tbsp seasoned oil (from sun-dried tomatoes)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch (to coat chicken)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, thinly diced
- 1ΒΌ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Β½ oz torn fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta π
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve Β½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside. - Season & Coat Chicken π
Toss diced chicken with cornstarch, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. - Sear the Chicken π₯
In a large skillet, heat the seasoned oil. Cook chicken until golden and crispy (about 5β6 minutes). Remove and set aside. - SautΓ© the Flavor π

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. SautΓ© 2β3 minutes until fragrant. - Make the Sauce π§
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3β5 minutes. Add Parmesan and stir until smooth and thick. - Finish It Off π«
Return chicken to the skillet, toss in cooked pasta. Stir until everything is coated and creamy. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed. - Garnish & Serve πΏ
