  • 1 Meat Thermometer optional

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Glaze

  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine steak cubes with hot honey, soy sauce, garlic, and olive oil in a bowl. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Grilling

  • Set your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F.
  • Thread the marinated steak cubes onto skewers, leaving a bit of space between each piece.
  • Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the steak reaches your desired doneness.

Finishing Touches

  • Mix hot honey, soy sauce, and garlic for the glaze. Brush generously over the skewers during the last minute of grilling.
  • Remove skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm with additional glaze if desired.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

Pro Tips: Ensure the grill is hot before placing the skewers to get a good sear. Ingredient Substitutions: Chicken or tofu can be used in place of steak for variation. How to Serve: Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad. Storage & Freshness: Best consumed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Make-Ahead Tips: Marinate the steak a day in advance for deeper flavor.
