  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  • In an oven-safe bowl, spread a layer of marinara sauce, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese, then add pepperoni slices, cooked sausage, mushrooms, and olives. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
  • Place the bowl in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • If desired, broil the top for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispier finish, watching carefully to prevent burning.

Serving

  • Let the pizza bowl cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or Parmesan cheese before serving.
