  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can 10 oz diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking the dip.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and add the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes to combine flavors.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the cooked beef evenly as the first layer.
  • Top the beef with cream cheese, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the cream cheese. Add the drained tomatoes and green chilies on top.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Serve immediately with your choice of dippers.
