Ingredients
  

Fruit

  • 3 medium apples cored and diced
  • 1 1/2 cups seedless grapes halved

Dressing

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the fruit. Core and dice the apples into bite-sized pieces, then add to a large bowl.
  • Halve the grapes and add them to the bowl with the apples.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt (if using).
  • Pour the dressing over the fruit and toss gently until evenly coated.
  • Cover and chill for 15 minutes, then serve cold as a breakfast side.

Notes

Best with crisp apples like Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala. For the freshest texture, serve within 24 hours and toss gently before serving if juices collect.
