  • 20 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 10 slices turkey bacon, halved

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice each date lengthwise and remove the pit while keeping the date intact.
  • Soften the cream cheese until smooth and easy to spread.
  • Fill each date with a small amount of cream cheese, avoiding overfilling.
  • Cut the turkey bacon slices in half crosswise.
  • Wrap one piece of turkey bacon around each filled date.
  • Place the wrapped dates seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Arrange the dates with space between them for even cooking.
  • Bake for 16 to 18 minutes until the turkey bacon is crisp and golden.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven once fully cooked.
  • Allow the dates to cool briefly so the filling can set.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and serve warm.

Notes

Use regular-cut turkey bacon for best wrapping and even crisping.
