Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (about 1 large chicken breast)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided) Reserve half for topping.
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional) Optional for added flavor.
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top and add blue cheese if using.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few moments. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Use a rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation. Adjust buffalo sauce for desired spice level. For a smoother dip, blend mixture in a food processor before baking. Can be made in advance; refrigerate until ready to bake.
