Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • fresh parsley optional garnish
  • lemon slices & cherry tomatoes optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  • Transfer the seared chicken to the slow cooker.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Whisk in the heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth and heated through.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker. Add lemon slices and cherry tomatoes if using.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender.
  • Stir the sauce before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Lighter option: Replace heavy cream with half-and-half.
