Topping Ingredients

  • 2 heads of garlic roasted
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast and warm water. Let it sit until frothy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut the tops off garlic heads, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30 minutes until soft.
  • Sauté sliced mushrooms in a pan until they release their juices and start to brown. Set aside.

Serving

  • Slice the pizza into 8 pieces and serve hot. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
