  • 1 rotisserie chicken shredded
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Remove skin and bones from the rotisserie chicken. Shred the meat using two forks and place it in a mixing bowl.
  • Add barbecue sauce to the shredded chicken. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom rolls. Layer with shredded barbecue chicken and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese and chicken layer.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder.
  • Use a brush to apply the butter mixture over the tops of the sliders.
  • Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts and tops are golden.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and serve the sliders warm. Enjoy them fresh to experience the best flavor and texture.
