Equipment

  • 1 Grill preheated to medium-high heat
  • 1 Mixing Bowl for marinade
  • 1 skewers wooden or metal

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Skewers

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until well blended.
  • Place the chicken cubes in a bowl and pour the marinade over them. Toss to coat each piece evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This ensures even cooking and nice grill marks on the chicken.
  • Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece for even cooking.
  • Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.

Serving

  • Remove the skewers from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Serve immediately with your choice of sides and sauces.

Storage

  • Store any leftover skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
