Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Aluminum foil
  • 1 Measuring spoons

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Herbs

  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while preparing the salmon fillets.
  • Cut four large sheets of aluminum foil. Place one salmon fillet in the center of each foil sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over each fillet. Add a pinch of salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Place lemon slices on top.
  • Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering completely and sealing the packet closed.

Baking

  • Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Carefully open one packet to check for doneness. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Carefully open the packets and transfer the salmon to a plate. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Storage

  • Allow any leftover salmon to cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
