Meatloaf

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish.
Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a small bowl and let soften.
Mix ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, parsley, and ketchup until just combined.
Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared pan and shape evenly.
Bake uncovered for 40 minutes, then carefully drain excess grease if needed.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the meatloaf.
Return to oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly golden.
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Add the cheese during the final bake to prevent it from overbrowning or becoming greasy.
