Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large
  • 1 Knife for slicing

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 slider buns
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it is ready for baking the sliders.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, diced onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  • Press the beef mixture into a large rectangle on a parchment-lined baking sheet, approximately 1/2 inch thick.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the beef reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.

Assembly

  • Remove the beef from the oven and let it rest. Cut the beef into 12 equal squares. Place each square on the bottom half of a slider bun, top with cheese, and cover with the top bun half.
  • Brush the tops of the slider buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  • Return the assembled sliders to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.

Serving and Storage

  • Allow the sliders to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them with your favorite sides and beverages.
  • Store any leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven before serving for the best texture.
