  • 3 medium apples cored and diced

Maple Dressing

  • 1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the apples, core them, and dice into evenly sized pieces. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt if using.
  • Pour the maple dressing over the apples and gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow flavors to settle, then serve chilled.

Notes

Best made with crisp apples such as Honeycrisp or Fuji. Adjust maple syrup depending on apple sweetness. Serve within 24 hours for best texture.
