Ingredients
  

Fruit

  • 3 medium apples cored and diced

Cinnamon Dressing

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the apples, core them, and dice into evenly sized pieces. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, maple syrup or honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt if using.
  • Pour the dressing over the apples and gently toss until evenly coated.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes, then toss gently and serve as a breakfast fruit side.

Notes

Use crisp apples like Honeycrisp or Fuji for best texture. Serve within 24 hours and stir gently before serving if juices collect.
