Instructions
Wash and dry the apples and grapes thoroughly. Core and dice the apples into bite-sized pieces.
Halve the grapes and add them to a large mixing bowl with the diced apples.
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, honey, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and salt if using.
Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently toss until evenly coated.
Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes, then toss gently and serve as a breakfast fruit side.
Notes
Use crisp apples like Honeycrisp or Fuji for best texture. Best served within 24 hours. Stir gently before serving if juices collect.
