Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl medium-sized
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 resealable bag or airtight container

Ingredients

Marinade Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Measure and prepare all the marinade ingredients. Ensure the garlic is finely minced and the lemon juice is freshly squeezed.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  • Pour the prepared marinade into a resealable bag or airtight container. This will be used for marinating the steak.

Marinating

  • Place your steak in the container with the marinade, ensuring it is fully submerged. Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for deeper flavor infusion.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to high heat, approximately 450°F to 500°F. Clean and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Remove steak from marinade and place on the hottest part of the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for preferred doneness.
  • Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, enhancing flavor and tenderness.

Serving

  • Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately. Pair with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
