Salmon Burgers

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillets skin removed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Creamy Burger Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers chopped

Preparation

  • Finely chop the salmon fillets or pulse in a food processor until coarsely ground. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Add breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the salmon. Mix until well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set.

Cooking the Burgers

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Making the Sauce
