  • 1 Mixing Bowl medium
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dill Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, chopped dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Spoon half of the dill yogurt sauce over the salmon fillets, spreading it evenly. Let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for 60 minutes.
  • Once marinated, bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Serve the baked salmon hot, topped with the remaining dill yogurt sauce.

Storage

  • Store any leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

Pro Tips: Use fresh dill for the best flavor. If needed, dried dill can be substituted at a 1:3 ratio (dried:fresh).
Ingredient Substitutions: Lime juice can be used instead of lemon juice for a different citrus flavor.
How to Serve: Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Storage & Freshness: For optimal freshness, consume within 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out the salmon.
Make-Ahead Tips: Prepare the dill yogurt sauce up to a day in advance and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
