Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small head of cabbage shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger in a medium bowl. Add the beef slices, mixing to coat well. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef, cooking each side for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add shredded cabbage. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until just tender, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Divide sautéed cabbage among bowls, top with cooked beef, and sprinkle with optional add-ins like almonds and scallions. Serve immediately.
