Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Tenders

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips Approximately 450 g
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste Salt & pepper
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish Optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the breading station with flour in one dish, beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the flour, then egg, followed by the breadcrumb mixture. Arrange the coated strips in a single layer on the baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake the chicken tenders for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the tenders rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a crispy texture, use Panko breadcrumbs. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for better flavor, and add cayenne pepper for a spicy kick. Tenders freeze well for future meals.
