  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the fresh lime juice to the avocados to enhance flavor and prevent browning.
  • Use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocados until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Fold in the diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, finely chopped onion, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • If desired, add minced garlic, jalapeños, and smoked paprika for extra flavor.

Serving

  • Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite Mexican dishes.
