Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large
  • 1 Baking Sheet for oven method

Ingredients

Sliders

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 8 slider buns
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  • Divide the seasoned beef into 8 equal portions and shape each into a small patty. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt.
  • While the patties are cooking, slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them on the stove or in the oven until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Add lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Spread ketchup and mustard on the top bun and place it over the toppings.

Serving

  • Serve the sliders immediately while they are warm and the cheese is gooey. Pair them with your favorite sides for a complete meal.

Storage

  • To store leftovers, wrap each slider individually in foil or parchment paper and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 300°F for about 10 minutes before serving.
