Equipment

  • 1 Grill preheated to medium-high
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large
  • 12 skewers soaked in water if wooden

Ingredients

Meatball Mixture

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper cut into chunks
  • 1 onion cut into chunks

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, breadcrumbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Form the mixture into small meatballs, each about 1 inch in diameter. Aim for uniform size to ensure even cooking.

Assembling Skewers

  • Thread the meatballs onto skewers, alternating with chunks of bell pepper and onion. Ensure each skewer is filled uniformly for balanced grilling.

Grilling

  • Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook, turning occasionally, until the meatballs are fully cooked and lightly charred on the outside, about 10-15 minutes.

Serving

  • Remove skewers from the grill and allow to rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a fresh salad.

Storage

  • Allow any leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freezing for up to 1 month.
