  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  • In a heavy-bottomed skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Cooking

  • Add the steak pieces in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes without moving them to form a crust. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce until well coated. Stir in parsley.

Serving

  • Transfer the steak bites to a serving platter and pour any remaining sauce over the top. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.

Storage

  • Cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove before serving.
