Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 12 oz fresh green beans
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Steak Preparation

  • Pat the steak dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak on each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and let rest.

Green Beans Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add green beans and sauté until tender. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice.

Combine and Serve

  • Slice the rested steak and return to the skillet. Toss to combine with the beans and garlic butter sauce.
