Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces pork sausages
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 large eggs cooked to your desired doneness
  • 1 cup canned baked beans heated
  • 2 slices thick-cut bread for toast
  • 1 medium tomato halved
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 tbsp Butter for cooking
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: black pudding for a traditional touch

Cooking

  • Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook for about 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
  • While the sausages are cooking, add the bacon to the pan. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until crispy, then remove and let them drain on a paper towel.
  • In the same pan, add the sliced mushrooms. Cook for 3–4 minutes until they are golden and tender. Set aside with the bacon.
  • Next, take the halved tomatoes and place them cut-side down in the pan. Cook for about 2 minutes until they are slightly charred and warm.
  • In another small saucepan, gently heat the baked beans until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
  • Lastly, crack the eggs into the pan. Cook to your desired doneness—poached, sunny-side up, or scrambled.
  • Toast the bread, either in the pan or a toaster, and prepare to serve.
  • On each plate, arrange the cooked sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, and the eggs. Serve with toast on the side, and add a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For added richness, consider using duck eggs instead of chicken eggs. If you enjoy extra flavor, fry the bread in the leftover bacon fat.
