Easy No-Bake Chocolate Lasagna Cake
A delightful chilled dessert featuring layers of chocolate pudding, creamy mascarpone, and an irresistible Oreo crust.
Ingredients
For the crust
- 24 pieces chocolate sandwich Crushed
- ½ cup unsalted butter Melted
For the filling
- 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped cream Or Cool Whip
- 2 packages chocolate instant pudding mix 3.9 oz each
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Optional for drizzle
- extra chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs For garnish, optional
Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed sandwich cookies with melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until combined, then fold in 1 cup of whipped cream.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
- In a separate mixing bowl, prepare the chocolate pudding by whisking together the pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
- Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
- Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped cream, spreading it evenly.
- Drizzle melted semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top and garnish with Oreo crumbs.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Notes
For added flavor, mix crushed cookies into the whipped cream layer. Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Chill overnight for the best texture. This dessert can be made a day in advance.
