Ingredients
  

Base

  • 1 sleeve graham crackers approximately 14 pieces
  • 1 cup unsalted butter 2 sticks
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional Toppings

  • sea salt for garnish
  • chopped nuts or sprinkles for added texture

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange graham crackers in a single even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Melt butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and bring to a boil. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly, until caramelized.
  • Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the graham crackers, spreading gently if needed.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let sit for 1 minute, then spread evenly.
  • Top with sea salt or chopped nuts if desired.
  • Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate until set. Cut into pieces and serve.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor. Allow the toffee to cool fully before cutting to ensure clean edges. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
