Ingredients
  

Cucumber Dill Sandwiches

  • 1 large cucumber thinly sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 slices of bread

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Using a sharp knife or mandoline, thinly slice the cucumber into even rounds. Set aside.

Assembling the Sandwiches

  • Take a slice of bread and spread a generous amount of the dill cream cheese mixture evenly over it.
  • Layer the cucumber slices over the cream cheese spread, covering the entire surface.
  • Top with another slice of bread, press gently, and cut into triangles or quarters.

Serving

  • Arrange the sandwiches on a serving platter and garnish with fresh dill sprigs. Serve immediately for best results.
