Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

Sliders

  • 8 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the chicken breasts with buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and dredge in flour, ensuring an even coating. Shake off excess flour.
  • Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 8 minutes per side. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in hot sauce and remove from heat once combined.
  • Slice each piece of fried chicken to fit the Hawaiian rolls. Place chicken on the bottom half of each roll, drizzle with buffalo sauce, and sprinkle with blue cheese.
  • Place assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5 minutes.
  • Top with the other half of the roll and serve immediately with ranch dressing on the side.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
