Equipment

  • 1 Baking Dish 9x13 inch
  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 Aluminum foil

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Gather all your ingredients and ensure the shrimp are thawed and patted dry.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in the rice and toast for another 2 minutes.
  • Slowly add chicken broth to the skillet, stirring occasionally. Allow the rice to absorb the broth partially.
  • Transfer the rice mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange the shrimp on top of the rice.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through and the rice is tender.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and a squeeze of lemon juice. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Pair with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.

Storage

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven before serving.
