  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 1 lb salmon fillets
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 avocado sliced

Seasoning and Dressing

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Season salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Heat a grill pan over medium heat and cook the fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and flaky.
  • Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until it runs clear. Cook the rice according to the package instructions in a rice cooker or on the stove.
  • Slice the cucumber and avocado, and julienne the carrot. Set aside for assembly.
  • Place a generous serving of cooked rice in each bowl. Top with cooked salmon, cucumber, carrot, and avocado slices.

Finishing Touches

  • Drizzle soy sauce over each bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
