Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Optional Add-Ons

  • 1 cup bell pepper chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Chop the onion and bell pepper. Slice the mushrooms and mince the garlic. Set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for another minute to blend the flavors.
  • Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  • Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Mix well and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Serving

  • Spoon the creamy beef mixture over a bed of cooked grains, such as rice or quinoa, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

  • Transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
