  • 1 round Brie cheese (about 8 oz)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • ¼ cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional) Optional for added flavor.
  • 1 Tbsp honey (optional for extra sweetness) Optional for added sweetness.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the Brie in the center of a baking dish. If desired, trim the top rind slightly for easier dipping.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, chopped pecans, and optional rosemary. Stir gently to combine.
  • Spoon the cranberry pecan mixture over the Brie, allowing it to cascade over the sides. Drizzle honey on top if you desire.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until the Brie is hot and gooey.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute before serving warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, toast the pecans in a dry skillet for 3-4 minutes before adding them to the cranberry mixture. Consider adding dried cranberries or a splash of orange juice for more texture. Serve with various accompaniments such as apple slices or pepper jelly for a diverse tasting experience.
