Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • fresh herbs for garnish Optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and white vinegar. Whisk together until smooth and free of lumps.
  • Add in the corn syrup and grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk until everything is thoroughly blended.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Whisk again to ensure even distribution.
  • Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more sugar for a sweeter flavor if desired.
  • Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, stir the dressing to ensure it’s mixed well. Drizzle it over a salad or serve as a dip.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Adjust sweetness with more or less corn syrup. Use high-quality mayonnaise for creaminess. Serve chilled for best flavor.
