Ingredients
  

Chicken Patties

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Chipotle Sauce

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo minced
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Burger Assembly

  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape each into a patty slightly larger than your buns.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, and lime juice. Set aside.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil to coat the bottom.
  • Place the patties in the skillet and smash down with a spatula. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until edges are crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • In the same skillet, toast the burger buns until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Spread chipotle sauce on each bun. Layer with lettuce, a chicken patty, tomato slices, and top with the other half of the bun.

Serving and Storage

  • Serve immediately while hot, with your choice of sides.
  • Store any leftover patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
