Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large
  • 1 Oven preheated to 375°F

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cans of tuna drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it is hot and ready for baking the sliders.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon the tuna mixture evenly over each bun, then cover with the top halves.
  • Brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter to help them brown beautifully in the oven.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Allow the sliders to cool for a few minutes before serving to let the filling set slightly.
  • Serve these sliders warm with a side of chips or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Storage

  • Place leftover sliders in an airtight container and refrigerate. They will stay fresh for up to three days.
  • To reheat, preheat your oven to 350°F and bake the sliders for about 10 minutes or until heated through. Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess.
