  • 1 Small saucepan for balsamic glaze
  • 1 Serving Platter

Ingredients
  

Skewers

  • 16 cherry tomatoes
  • 16 fresh mozzarella balls bocconcini
  • 16 fresh basil leaves

Balsamic Glaze

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Cut any large mozzarella balls in half for easier skewer assembly.
  • In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and sugar. Simmer on low heat until reduced by half, stirring occasionally. Set aside to cool.

Assemble the Skewers

  • On each skewer, thread a cherry tomato, a mozzarella ball, and a basil leaf. Repeat the sequence for desired length.
  • Place the assembled skewers on a serving platter, arranging them evenly.

Serving

  • Drizzle the cooled balsamic glaze over the skewers just before serving.
  • Garnish with additional basil leaves if desired, and serve immediately.

Storage

  • Store any leftover skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
