  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 large lemon (juice)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish) Adds visual appeal and flavor.
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes (for a hint of heat)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice, whisking until well mixed.
  • Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the baking dish; season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the lemon garlic butter mixture over the salmon and top each fillet with a lemon slice.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Choose wild-caught salmon for enhanced flavor and sustainability. For crispy skin, broil salmon for the last 2-3 minutes. Adjust garlic and lemon amounts based on taste. Pairs beautifully with steamed asparagus or light quinoa salad.
