  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Consider using rotisserie chicken for added flavor.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened This forms the creamy base of the dip.
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce Adjust the spice level according to your preference.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Used for melting and topping.
  • ½ cup ranch dressing Blue cheese dressing can be used as an alternative.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing. Stir until well blended and smooth.
  • Add the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce to the bowl. Mix everything until fully incorporated.
  • Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time; just cover and refrigerate before baking. Serve with chips, celery sticks, or crackers. For added kick, you can add diced jalapeños or a dash of cayenne pepper.
